What’s your unpopular e-bike/e-scooter opinion?

As much as we may use an e-bike or e-scooter and we tend not to have many issues at all with either, there are always owners of e-bikes and e-scooters who do something that means you will have an opinion, whether that be an agreed opinion or an unpopular opinion.

What is an unpopular opinion that you have about e-bikes and e-scooters?

I think not every ebike or even escooter needs to be as fast as possible. I'd rather have a model with better battery life, comfort, and reliability than the one built mainly for speed. Since ebikes and escooter aren't built for a long distance, speed shouldn' matter much.

My own unpopular e-bike opinion is that not everyone should own e-bikes. Let me explain. Imagine a situation where everyone switches over from driving cars to using only e-bikes, it's going to make it difficult for everyone. The traffic we have to suffer with driving cars on the road would be felt riding e-bikes too.
