Ever gifted someone an ebike?

I was once in a group where someone got an ebike as a gift from a friend who was residing in another country. He had to send the bike through courier service, and the benefactor was so happy. Currently, I am saving up to buy an ebike for my brother so it can help him save cost on transport while going to school. Have you had that opportunity where you gifted someone an ebike? What was the reason for such?

Recently, I gifted an ebike to my nephew. I had promised him an ebike if he secured an A in his high school exams and interestingly, he got A+
