Do any of you use bike bells at all?

Do you ride with a bike bell or do you rely on your voice to alert people? I've seen riders who use their mouth to tell people get out of the way and it's always hilarious to me.

What's your preference and why?

I don't stress myself shouting when the bells can do the work. Most times, when I am riding bikes, I use the bells to alert people to move out of the way.

I completely lost it laughing after reading this and do you know why? It's because I used to do that with my regular bike years ago before e-bikes became a thing. I learnt how to ride a bike with one which doesn't have a bell. I had to use my mouth and tell people to get out of way or I scream piiiiiiii piiiiiiii .

My ebike came with a bell but I upgraded to a horn. These days people pay less attention to bills especially in a busy and noisy roads.

You're absolutely right about that. They not only don't pay attention, but most of them who doesn't use e-bikes have a habit of cursing out on e-bike riders whenever we drive pass them ringing the bell. Some people are damn too annoying these days.
