Best way to store ebike battery during winter?

I would like to get everyone's opinion on how they handle their ebike batteries during winter. I mean, one of the biggest challenges during winter is that ebike batteries can drain faster because of the cold. There is also this fear that the cells can even get damaged because of the freezing conditions.

So, what is the best way to store my ebike battery and ensure it stays in good condition? Do I need to charge it at intervals during winter? What is the level that I should always keep it at?

Winter in my place isn't terrible, it is comparatively warmer. But I always I store the battery indoors in a cool, dry place and keep it partially charged, around 40 to 60 percent. I check the charge every few weeks and also keep it running for a while so that battery remains healthy.

Cold weather isn't good for most e-bike's batteries because it incapacitates and reduces their effectiveness and efficiency. I remove my e-bike's battery from it whenever I'm done riding and store it in a well-ventilated indoor area. It helps to keep our battery warn and in good shape.
